Program Details
AgilityFit
AgilityFit focuses on functional training and body movements. Athletes will meet in an indoor/outdoor setting where coaches will offer training to increase speed, strength, agility, coordination, and endurance. Modifications will be applied to meet the needs of all levels of ability and mobility (i.e. seated, balance/coordination impairments).
Art
Join us as we stimulate the senses and encourage creativity in a fun environment where children create a variety of crafts to take home and cherish or share with others. Typically held on a Saturday morning for 2-3 hours, we offer Art For All twice a year for children ages 5-28 with special needs and their siblings. Children who move independently or who use assistive devices are welcome to attend, however, unlike our regular 6-8 week programs, we do not provide 1:1 volunteers, rather parents are encouraged to help their child participate in the different art stations.
Basketball
Learn the FUNdamentals of basketball through skills and drills to develop dribbling, passing and shooting ability. The team will incorporate scrimmages after 3-4 weeks of practicing with the goal of skill development. At the end of the season, the team will show off their newly developed skills in a final exhibition and celebrate with a party and awards ceremony.
Cheerleading
Cheerleaders will learn a choreographed routine to music which includes a dance, cheer, pyramid and tumbling sections.
Dance
For children of all abilities! Dancers learn two or three dances and perform in a recital at the end of the season.
Disc Sports
Participants learn the FUNdamental skills of disc sports including ultimate frisbee and frisbee golf progressing to game play. Learn more about scholarships here.
Field and Splash Day
Promoting family fitness and fun! Join us for a traditional field day, adapted for all abilities with a twist of water play for all! We welcome children ages 4-22 who are ambulatory or use an assistive device, however participation in the various activities will vary by age and ability. Typically held on a Saturday morning at a local park or outdoor venue, this one-day event last about 2-3 hours.
Flag Football
Flag football is a one-day clinic offered typically in the summer or fall season to children in the Allstars Division. The players learn the FUNdamentals of flag football and experience the fun of scrimmaging.
Golf
Participants learn the FUNdamental skills of golf including grip, aim, stance and posture while also learning value lessons of respect, discipline and good sportsmanship.
Gymnastics
Participants learn the FUNdamental skills of golf including grip, aim, stance and posture while also learning value lessons of respect, discipline and good sportsmanship.
Martial Arts
Participants learn basic positions, techniques and katas through lessons and scrimmages in a safe environment.
Music
Children explore music and movement through a variety of instruments, rhythms and sounds. The class performs in a music recital at the end of the season.
Musical Theater
This program combines music, theatre and dance for a unique experience. Children show off in a final performance at the end of the season and work together as a group toward a common goal.
Outdoor Explorer
Promoting family fitness and appreciation for the outdoors, this event is offered 2 or 3 times a year for Kinetic Kids and their families. Activities vary but may include field day events, archery, or camping activities. Please refer to the description in the schedule to see a list of activities offered that day. We welcome children ages 5-21 who are ambulatory or use an assistive device, however, participation in the various activities will vary by age and ability. Typically held on a Saturday morning at a local park or outdoor venue, this one-day event last about 3 hours.
Kickball
Participants learn the FUNdamental skills of Kickball in a safe and adapated environment progressing to game play.
Pickleball
Participants learn the FUNdamental skills of pickleball including strokes and progressing to game play.
Soccer
Soccer is offered to children of all functional levels. This class teaches the FUNdamentals of soccer, including dribbling, passing, and game play through skills and drills. The coach will also incorporate scrimmages with the goal of skill development. At the end of the season, teams show off their newly-developed skills in a final exhibition and celebrate with a party and awards ceremony.
Swimming
Parents love seeing their children progress their swimming skills in a fun, safe and controlled environment. Each participant shows off their newly learned skills at the last class of the season.
Tennis
Participants learn the FUNdamental skills of tennis including tennis strokes and progressing to game play.
